If you haven’t already seen this one, please have a peek and enjoy a good laugh, compliments of Miss Ev. Happy Sunday!
I am so not kidding when I say that this kid wants to crawl. She still has a way to go before she reaches the point where we’d call her “mobile,” but it’s so much fun watching her try and being her cheerleader. Go Evy, go!
The huz will probably kill me for putting this up, but here it is. This is the type of silly stuff that goes on in our house everyday – this clip in particular is from our snow day yesterday. Enjoy!
This is how we do it in the Buehler house. Here’s a look at Daddy & Everly after they woke up today and realized it was Saturday – we get excited over the littlest things here.
After this little impromptu dance session, we made some coffees, and Ev & I cleaned house while Marty mowed the lawn. We’re bummed around all day, just running errands, enjoying the weather, and plotting all the fun things we plan to do this fall – like taking Everly apple picking and mastering the perfect apple crisp, visiting the Botanical Gardens when the leaves start to take pictures, and maybe even hitting up some Missouri wineries next month.
I always get excited for Fall because I love weather that calls for a sweater, a fun hat and a pair of boots. And now besides having fun with Fall clothes in my own closet, I have a little pint-size Evie that I get to play dress up with all the time. I saw these little Zuzii boots for munchkins on Etsy the other day and I think I’m in love. Just might have to get these for my girl. Aren’t they cute?
Check out our little cutie during bathtime – we think she looks like a little lizard sticking her tongue out in the water! This video is after Miss Ev destroyed a diaper and also took down an outfit, socks, and a blanket as well – don’t be fooled by those innocent eyes!
She’s the reason I’m on this Earth and why my heart beats. Hope you enjoy these two short videos of my breathtaking Baby Girl doing what she does best these days – smiling and giggling at her parents. 🙂
Yesterday was not such a good day for Ev. For some reason, she was gassy and seemed uncomfortable for a good part of the afternoon. I rocked her, pumped her legs, patted her back, bounced her, and carried her around the house talking and trying to soothe her as she squirmed, grunted, and let out little bitty cries that broke my heart every time. Finally, after more rocking and her Daddy walking in the door from work, we saw a little mood change in this girl and it made my day. (Sorry, it was dim in our living room and the video is kind of dark.)
Here is a little glimpse into what our nights have been like. We’re trying to get Everly into a nightly routine to make bedtime easier for her, and after bathtime we like to enjoy a little activity we call “Naked Baby Time.” We bring her changing pad out to the living room and take Everly’s diaper off so that she can air out a little. She LOVES this time of the night and Marty and I love sitting with her, talking to her, and listening to her adorable baby chatter as she tries to talk back to us. This is probably the highlight of her day – and who wouldn’t love it if they spent most of their day in a diaper. Enjoy.
